Bit of behind-the-scenes madness…originally, in that distortion, Lucy was going to be the dragon, while Link was going to be the Ambis. However, due to a misunderstanding, we ended up with Link as the dragon and Lucy as the Ambis. Micah tried to correct it, but it didn’t look as good. However, you can see the art as it was originally written. Isn’t that nice of us?

It’s a distortion. Every time Link takes damage in the dream, something weird happens to the scene around him, and each one gets more jarring than the last. In this case, the scene turned into a Micah-drawn picture of Lucy (as an ambis) stabbing Link (as a dragon).
